Alteren was assigned by the Region of Epirus the configuration of the Climate Resilience Project Documentation Report, for nine transferred projects from the Operational Programme of Epirus 2014-2020 to Programme Epirus. This Report is a legal liability for all transferred acts of the Operational Programme.

The reinforcement of the climate resilience is rendered a horizontal policy at European and national level and consists of the following two pillars:

• Mitigating Climate Change(Climate neutrality) by means of reducing the greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) during the project operation
• Adapting of the infrastructure to climate change (Climate resilience). i.e., facing the inevitable impacts of climate change, making an effort to reduce the risks and improving climate resilience of the project.
